Right now is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build your brand and to start an e-commerce or DTC business online. Let me tell you why…
It’s understandable that you may not want your face or voice on video, but there are ways around this. Hire a voice-over artist, script an animated video, use a slideshow with an automated voice. The possibilities are endless…

Why You Need to Build Your Brand Now
The next 12 to 18 months are going to see an explosion of creative talent and creatively designed products unlike anything we’ve seen so far. Boundaries that once caged have fallen away and everyone is free to do business with anyone they choose to.
That’s the joy of the internet. Brought forward by about a decade in terms of progress thanks to Covid, the Internet of Things has people connected to each other and their support systems, plugged in without a tether and ready to do business like never before.
Build Your Brand With These Free Resources
Is that business going to be with your brand or with your competitors’ brands? The only way left to make sure your brand gets seen is to get in front of people’s eyes by using the very platforms designed to do just that.
Free Resource 1: TikTok
TikTok changed everything. And I mean not just for me, but for millions of other brands around the world, too.
Developed in just 200 days back in 2016, TikTok had 100 active million users within a year, and now boasts more than one billion videos watched daily.
Using TikTok to build your brand in public means more exposure to international markets and the ability to reach more people than ever. The platform incentivizes creators through the TikTok Creator Fund, and their full network is built on putting your content in front of new eyeballs in 90 seconds or less – organically.
Free Resource 2: Instagram
Launched for iOS in 2010 and for Android in 2012, Instagram quickly gained in popularity. Within 2 months, the platform boasted one million registered users and 10 million in a year. By June 2018, Instagram had 1 billion active users who had collectively shared more than 50 billion photos!
In an ironic twist, Meta’s Instagram is now incentivizing TikTok creators to make use of Reels, the Instagram version of TikTok shorts. And just as Twitter allows you to share your TikTok videos to their users, Instagrammers can now do the same, too.
This incentivization is mostly aimed at creators and power users with large followings, but if you start now you can build a large following for your own brand. It’s surprisingly easy to do and quite amazing to watch your popularity grow in the stats.
Free Resource 3: YouTube
YouTube was launched in 2005. Within 18 months, the platform had been acquired by Google, who is now owned by Alphabet. The first video ever released on YouTube was done so by co-founder Jawed Karim, which has since been viewed more than 260 million times in the 18 years it’s been live.
With reach like that – spanning decades – you can see why YouTube is a great platform for your content. With a little bit of effort and a whole lot of consistency, your product can go on reaching users for decades!
Why Use These Free Resources?
First of all, they want you to succeed. They want to show you to more and more people. When you grow, they grow.
This is not the way that Facebook and other places worked in the past. They wanted to gatekeep it and make brands pay to have that access. Now, it’s all coming down to YouTube shorts, Instagram reels, and TikTok.
These three platforms are putting more content in front of more people organically than ever before, and the next 12 to 18 months are a window of opportunity for growth that brands simply can’t afford to miss.
There’s an opportunity for you to build your brand and get organic reach by making videos. I wouldn’t sleep on this personally, and neither should you.
So, where do you start?
Top Tips to Get You Started
Think of how you can find a product, whether it’s a digital or a physical product. Figure out a way to differentiate your version of the product (or create a whole new one). You’ll find tons of tools and resources on productworld.xyz.
Create tons of content around that product and throw it at the wall, inside these channels. That means 60 to 90 second videos, where you’re:
- breaking down the process behind how you make it.
- sharing factory links.
- discussing why people like your product.
- explaining what can be done with it.
- walking through every decision you make to bring it to market.
- showing off a piece of machinery.
- giving your followers a glimpse into your lifestyle.
Content truly is king in this new creator economy. Again and again and again, it can be created on an iPhone or Android device, a simple camera, or even your laptop.
Gt the reach you need to help your brand succeed. The more you make of it, the more interesting it is, and the better it will go.
Don’t sleep on this opportunity! We may never see that kind of organic reach again. Now is the time to build your brand in public.
