Boost your product’s look and feel with these standout packaging designs…
Products that stand out do so not just because of their usability or functionality, but also for their aesthetically pleasing lines. This includes how they are presented, and what packaging they’re in.
It shouldn’t be that important, but being able to showcase your brand and give the illusion of luxury is what’s going to sell on any of the world’s marketplaces nowadays. How your product looks is ‘almost’ more important than what it does!
You need to lean in to the growing trend of having standout packaging designs. I can’t stress that enough.
Here are some packaging designs that really did it for me…

Benefits of Having Standout Packaging Designs
Trending packaging designs contribute to sales, and that’s a hard fact.
5 Things to Consider When Designing Your Packaging
The best way to make an impression is to ensure your packaging is unique, yet current and on-trend. Modern, avant-garde designs with a clean look have a much bigger impact than you think, especially on spectators.
1. Sustainability
Sustainability in packaging is a key factor to consider when designing your packaging. Consumers want to contribute to keeping the planet safe, and are choosing sustainable materials in more and more of the buying decisions they make.
Be part of the solution, or be part of the problem.
2. Durability
Will your package arrive safely at its destination? Shipping handlers are notorious for manhandling parcels, which also naturally get damaged in transit. Bulk units are normally cushioned by other units around them, but a standalone package is not.
Design to prevent reasonable damage.
3. Reusability
Consumers love the idea of reusing a container, box, or package for more than its intended use. Ten years from now when your customer pulls out their mementos, will your packaging have withstood the test of time?
Biodegradable is one thing… falling apart at the seams is something else entirely.
4. Emotive Qualities
Value-based decisions tell the customer they are making the right purchasing decision. If you know your target market well, and use personas to determine who that market is, you will know what your ideal customer does and doesn’t like.
Design your packaging in such a way that it speaks directly to your customers’ values and preferences.

5. Labeling Issues
Mystery is great, but if a customer doesn’t know what they’re getting in a package, they won’t be buying that product.
Make sure your packaging and its labels are descriptive, informative, and elegant enough to evoke a curiosity about the contents.
Standout Packaging Designs That Inspire
Give your products a premium look and feel. Get inspired by these packaging designs, which I think are great…
1: Dedtergent
There’s just something about taking normal substances and putting them in a motor oil can that just goes. This is laundry detergent from DedCool.

2: Mr Bailey Adidas Collaboration
This Mr Bailey Adidas packaging that’s home-compostable and made of mushrooms is 10/10 in my books.

3: CuldeSac
Being like fully incased in acrylic is not something I’d want for consumable such as honey, but it’s great for non-perishables that could last a long time, It’s definitely an interesting design. This is Kubrickian Honey packaging by CuldeSac, inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s film ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’.

4: Off-White
This Off-White crate is absolutely insane.

5: Glossier E Molding Collaboration
These form fitting blister packs look really good and I’ve also seen biodegradable versions of these. This is Glossier’s new skincare set, with packaging by E Molding International, a Thailand-based packaging factory.
And you probably already know I’m a sucker for clear packaging on almost anything.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough
to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual
appeal. I must say you have done a superb job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Chrome.
Outstanding Blog!
