The next generation of hoodie blank is here, and private label clothing brands need to sit up and take notice of what consumers are looking for…
Starting off, consumers wanted heavyweight hoodies with 400 GSM. Clothing brands scrambled to meet the demand.
By the way, if you missed my TikTok short on this, you can catch it below:
Then everybody wanted heavier hoodies, 1,000 GSM. That’s heavyweight, so the textiles were developed and consumers got what they wanted.
But then, this factory went on to break the internet with 1,800 GSM. Thick and heavy, manufacturers rallied to help their private label clothing brands get stock, but still, it’s not enough.
Customers want more, heavier, thicker. Hell, even I want a thicker, heavier weight. Give me that Teletubby look. I want 30,000 GSM… padded, thick and warm. I want to pull up looking like a $5,000 couch!
