Top 5 Worldwide Product Sourcing Platforms
From Paris to Pennsylvania, London to Los Angeles… top brands around the world are using the same factories your brand could be using.
These are my top 5 picks.
My favourite is Pietra Studios. They have a really modern UX that you can navigate through with factories they’ve already pre-vetted across a ton of categories.
Thomasnet is a great way to find manufacturers in the US, particularly for products made from industrial steel, etc., but awesome for American manufacturing.
Europages will help you hunt down manufacturers in Europe, which is great if you’re looking for high quality products in locations such as Portugal or Italy, or if you’re actually sourcing from inside of Europe.
Alibaba has the biggest collection of factories in the world. Vendors on the platform focus mainly on China, but you can also find great vendors from Vietnam, Cambodia, Pakistan, or India here.
Lastly, CALA is like an operating system for fashion brands. It’s got factories basically built in. You don’t have to worry about sourcing; just about putting your designs on the platform and then coordinating your activities.
